his film looks at the family history of one of Tredegars more well known charaters Trevor Jones, also known as Trevor the Milk, awarded MBE for his services in the community. Here we look at the ancestrial line that lead to Trev the Milk living in our town of Tredegar.
2 men from Blaenau Gwent won the VC for acts of outstanding bravery. In this film the people of Bleanau Gwent tell their stories and the stories of the more 'Ordinary Heroes' from our valley's. Some of the men and women who made great sacrifices during the War.
Cinema was mass entertainment for the people of South Wales. Even small valley towns would have 2 or more cinemas. People could measure out their lives by what was on the silver screen.
